I have always been passionate about animals, being around them and understanding them!  The joke in the family is that my first word was "DOG"!

I pursued a career in animal care by going to college and securing a degree in Animal Science.  I worked for a veterinarian in Queens, NY as a Vet Tech/Assistant for a number of years and most recently for a veterinarian in northern Dutchess County as a Practice/Hospital Manager for close to 3 years.

 

Having trained dogs for nearly 25 years, in 2003 I decided to make it official and acquire my certification through Animal Behavior College.  I did that with honors and then mentored and worked with some of the best trainers on Long Island at the Dog Obedience Club of South Nassau. 

 

I left the Veterinary Hospital in northern Dutchess to pursue my dream of helping owners establish the best relationships they ever had - those that exist only between them and their dogs!   "COME ON - GET CONNECTED!!!!

I am a dog lover first, and a dog trainer second. I know from first-hand experience the difference dog training makes in the relationship between dog and owner. Without professional training it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship, but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation will occur.
